JUSTICE FOR ALL -
The Work of Keep Tucson Together

Monday, March 2
PARISH HALL
6:30pm

Attorney Margo Cowan, a graduate of the Antioch School of Law in Washington, D.C., is a very active immigration lawyer here in Tucson and has had much experience as an attorney in general immigration since 1986. She served as Counsel for the Tohono O’Odham Nation (1993-2003) and has been a defense attorney in the Law Offices of the Pima County Defender since 2004.

In March, 2007, she was awarded the Cesar Chavez Humanitarian Award by the National Association of Social Workers, Arizona II Branch, for her dedication to the advancement of human rights. She is a co-founder of No More Deaths and has worked for several years as director of Keep Tucson Together, a volunteer organization dedicated to the protection of the rights of immigrants and their families, including DACA recipients, asylum seekers, and many who face deportation.

Come join us at Theology Uncorked on Monday, March 2, 2020, at 6:30 p.m., to hear Margo speak about KTT’s exciting new initiative, “Justice for All in Pima County.” Margo and some of her team leaders will describe their hopes for this new program and will be happy to answer any questions we have about how it will help Tucson’s immigrant families remain together and prosper.

Theology Uncorked is a free program for theological reflection, good conversation, delicious wines and fresh popcorn! This program is offered usually on the first Monday of each month with presentations, movies, etc., which allow us to further examine our lives as it relates to Christ's teachings. You are welcome to bring snacks or a bottle of wine to share as we delve into our theology! All are welcome to join us!
