needle, thread and scissors clip artYou probably already know how to use scissors and know how to iron.  You also probably know how to sort and fold fabric and to organize and pack boxes.  Perhaps you already know how to pull ribbon and elastic through loops.  Not all of us sew, knit, quilt, and crochet (although many of us do), but we all have different talents.  Come join us and share your talents!

We, the members of the Tuesday morning Craft and Sewing Group, are a St. Frances Cabrini Parish service group that lends a hand to unwed mothers at the Reachout Women's Center, assists families served by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and makes and donates clothing to needy children at various mission churches of the diocese.

Our group also socializes.  We celebrate birthdays, sometimes go on field trips, and have pot luck luncheons.  Participation in this group is a good way to meet fellow parishioners and work together for the benefit of our neighbors and community. If you are interested in lending a hand to this ministry, please contact the parish office at 520-326-7670.
