safe environment imageAt St. Frances Cabrini, we are committed to protecting our children and vulnerable adults.

Leaders, staff, and volunteers in our parish receive training on this subject and are expected to conduct their personal and public lives in a manner that is consistent with the highest standards of our faith.

St. Frances Cabrini and the Diocese of Tucson will not tolerate sexual misconduct or the failure to respond appropriately and decisively when sexual misconduct is observed, suspected or alleged.  Please contact the parish office and leave your comments, questions or concerns on this topic for the Compliance Officers.

Potential volunteers are required to set up an interview with the leader of the ministry in which they are interested in serving. They will then need to submit a volunteer application via the Diocese of Tucson employment website by following these instructions:

TLDR - as of this writing, the closest you can get by direct link (not very close) is here.

As of this writing (2024-07-19), here are accurate long instructions:

Select Apply

Navigate to a page called Employment/ Volunteer Opportunities (there are two ways to get there).

Scroll down, then under Jobs and Volunteer Opportunities, look for the box titled All Locations, in the lower right of the page.

Click in that, scroll down and select Our Lady of LaVang Parish - Tucson, AZ. Click on SEARCH.

After it searches, you will see PARISH VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES.

Click on Volunteer.

When it comes up, click on Apply for this Position.

Fill out the entire application (red asterisk fields required). You do not need to attach a resume for a volunteer position.

After all of this is complete, the person will go through fingerprinting and training related to the ministry as well as the Safe Environment Program.
