Theology Uncorked Summer Movie Series

Theology Uncorked is a free program for theological reflection, good conversation, delicious wines and fresh popcorn! This program is offered usually on the first Monday of each month with presentations, movies, etc., which allow us to further examine our lives as it relates to Christ’s teachings. You are welcome to bring snacks or a bottle of wine to share as we delve into our theology!

Currently, Theology Uncorked is offering a Summer Movie Series on the first and third Mondays (exception of Friday, September 1) of each month through September 1. Here is the remaining schedule for August and September’s movie nights:

Monday, August 7: The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

Bored and restless in his new home, Bruno, an innocent child of eight, ignores his mother and sets off on an adventure in the woods. Soon he meets a young boy, and a surprising friendship develops.

Monday, August 21: The Visitor

A college professor travels to New York City to attend a conference and finds a young couple living in his apartment.

Monday, September 4: Salt of the Earth (1954)

New Mexican workers at a zinc mine call a general strike. It is only through the solidarity of the workers, and the indomitable resolve of their wives, mothers and daughters, that they triumph.
